Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, opaque and pale yellow in color with a slight orange tint. Not much for head and no lacing.
Smell - Banana and guava on the nose. Creamy vanilla undertone. Light hints of caramel and chocolate.
Taste - Banana heavy flavor. Only hints of guava, cream and caramel come though. A faint trace of chocolate. Aftertaste lingers with banana, a touch of tartness and a little cream.
Mouthfeel - Full in body with low to moderate carbonation. Creamy texture. Smooth.
Overall - Decent brew, but the banana dominates more of the flavor profile than I prefer. It's also more sweet than it is sour.
