Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, opaque and berry-violet in color. A few broken up patches of suds on the surface with a thin ring encircling the edge of the glass. No lacing.
Smell - Interesting aroma. Nothing dominates too much, but you get those hints of dragonfruit, boysenberry, cream and pineapple that kind of melds into its own unique scent.
Taste - Follows the nose. Nothing really dominates a general fruity profile, but you get little pops of the pineapple, boysenberry and dragonfruit as the flavor progresses, while a creamy base sets the tone. Balanced finish.
Mouthfeel - Near medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick with a light creaminess in the texture. Goes down smooth and easy before a lightly dry finish.
Overall - Interesting blend of flavors going on here. Unique for sure. One I would love to have again, and several times over.
