Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, semi-hazy and red with a pinkish tinge. Solid, broken layer of suds across the surface, and holds firm as it's consumed. A few broken lines and small spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Huge "candied" cherry aroma with a bit of lime adding a tart note.Maybe a faint creamy sweetness?
Taste - Follows the nose. Cherry-centric flavor with a nice amount of lime cutting the sweetness. Hints of raspberry. A touch of cream in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker before a mostly dry finish.
Overall - Solid. Definitely rings that "rocket popsicle off the ice cream truck" bell in my mind, so mission accomplished.
