Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, opaque and berry red in color with a mostly barren surface and a thin, broken ring on the outer edge. A few small spits make up a sparse lacing.
Smell - Cherry and strawberry tart and fruity sweetness.
Taste - As with the nose, cherry and strawberry are prominent, with a sugary sweet undertone. More sweet than you'd like in a sour, though there's a definite tartness that lingers in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with fair carbonation slick drinker before a mostly dry finish.
Overall - Solid sour, though I think the cotton candy addition probably made it sweeter than I would prefer. Solid brew regardless.
