Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, opaque and berry red in color with a mostly barren surface, Razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. Lacing is sparse with minimal small spotting and light sediment from the fruit puree.
Smell - Berry notes and peach stand out on the nose. Yeah, that's pretty much it.
Taste - A tart trio of berry upfront, with the cranberry, raspberry and blackberry doing their thing. Stays strong mid-taste before the sweeter notes of peach and mango begin to balance out the tartness, leaving a finish that's still tart, but with a nice kiss of sweet.
Mouthfeel - Light in boxy with tingly carbonation. A slick, smooth and easy drinker before a semi-dry finish.
Overall - Another really nice Double Jammer.
