This one sounded too odd not to pass up on a flight. As explained to me, after the beer was brewed, a bunch of liquified sour candy was added. Because of copyright issues, they couldn't use the product's name, but if you think of something similar to a "Happy Farmer", you'd be correct.
Any ways, it was not overly sour as the added candy tempered the tartness. It was sweet, but not overly so either. Color? A weird green thanks to the liquified candy mixing with the yellow beer. I actually really liked it as it was something new to me, and I personally thought the candy went very well with the sour beer. On the tongue it felt, smooth, almost slick. You definitely wouldn't think it's 6.1% either.
I do recommend trying it, very much so, but I also figure it wouldn't be some people's cup of tea.
