Our Krampus stout aged in Bourbon barrels for nearly a year. Like putting a shot of bourbon in your nog. It tastes like the first time you saw Home Alone.

2022 version of this brew.
Appearance - Pours a jet black with two fingers of frothy mocha tan head.
Smell - bourbon barrel, char, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, earthy and leafy hops, roasted malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bourbon barrel and char upfront. The earthy and leafy hops come through next. The cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla follow suit. The roasted malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth with the bourbon barrel and char alongside the mild notes from the spices lingering.
Overall - A interesting take on the BA imperial stout side of things by trying to make the non- traditional cocktail bourbon and eggnog. I commend New Level for trying but the bourbon takes precedence and with all beers that I've sampled that attempt to mimic alcoholic cocktails, this one just doesn't have the right notes to it and elements just got lost in translation. Ah well, I'll enjoy the rest of the can.
