Served in a nonic pint glass
This beer pours deep brown. Copper highlights are visible when held to the light. It is topped with a fleeting tan head.
The smell is brown sugar, maple to a lesser degree, and cinnamon.
It is pretty sweet up front. I taste maple and brown sugar. I get some earthy oak flavor through the middle. The cinnamon comes in the finish.
Medium bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel
This is a big bottle for this much flavor. The flavors are good, maybe a bit cloying. They fatigue the palate rather quickly. It's a bit much.
