Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with an inch of mocha head that leaves little lacing.
Nice peppermint aroma. Underlying chocolate. Hints of vanilla and caramel.
Peppermint forward and throughout the taste. Chocolate notes. The bourbon is oh-so-subtle.
Full bodied with a slick mouthfeel
This is a peppermint beer, that's for sure. I would like to try the non-barrel aged version for science, of course.
