Beware of Deimos, the Greek god of terror! We took an American Porter and piled on more flavor with vanilla and the added kick of local coffee. The result can only be described as something truly terrifying for the taste buds.

16oz can, adhesive label. Stamp on label is 'BORN 4/22/25'.
Clear, brown colored body. Thin tan colored head sticks around as a large island and full ring. Leaves behind some lacing spots.
Aroma is sweet with vanilla, plus lots of coffee and whiffs of chocolate.
Taste is bitter from the dark roast coffee and sweet from the vanilla and malts. Additional chocolate flavor. Stays mostly bitter in the aftertaste.
Thinner mouthfeel, but creamy in texture. Good carbonation.
Standard porter with additions of vanilla and coffee. Ends with coffee bitterness overwhelming any sweetness.

I'm trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with khaki head that did not leave much lace. The scent had dark chocolate and roast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with coffee roast blend presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a great beer.
