Copenhagen 22/2 2020. 33 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Black can declaring this to be a “Circus Beer” with red berries and licorice.
I understand the reference to circus when I pour it. Pours opaque burgundy red with a pink head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense, tart and rich with berries. Sweet raspberry and more tart currants. Lighter odor of exotic fruit. Papaya and mango. Very faint licorice.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger, tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour-sweet with a slight tart overweight. Dry, tart finish.
Swedish berry galore. Not bad.

Taste is sweet and sour like the nose and brings a creaminess to the notes of passionfruit, raspberries, vanilla youghurt, black currants and a finishing touch of licorice.
Mouthfeel is medium, creamy and well carbonated.
Overall, another terrific "candy weisse" by Morgondagens.
