Pours jet black with some soapy, tan head.
Smell is sweet and spicy with notes of ginger, Coke, cinnamon, chocolate, brown sugar and creamy vanilla.
Taste issweet and a bit roasty with a huge hit of salt licorice up top. Spicy notes of ginger and cinnamon follow with hints of Coke, chocolate and vanilla on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a stout that would be amazing as a licorice stout, but the gingerbread notes are too subdued here.
