Copenhagen 5/5 2022. 33 cl tall, slim can from Mikkeller web-shop. Drawing of an unhappy clown struggling in a glass in order not to be consumed by a very greedy feminine mouth.
Pours opaque, hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet slightly fermented odor of tropical fruits mingling with zesty citrus. Mango an peach. Hints of decay. Subdued lemon and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a fermented streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is pleasant and fermented.
Fine, sweet NEIPA where the alcohol is lurking just beneath the surface.
