Imperial Stout with blueberries, maple syrup, cinnamon, and coffee. Maybe the most expensive non-barrel aged stout I’ve bought. It’s sweet—but dang if it doesn’t taste good. Never thought I would like blueberries in a stout, but this tastes good. It’s like blueberry pancakes in a glass. And I never would have guessed that it’s 11% abv by the taste. The maple syrup is sweet but delicious, and the blueberries are noticeable but not overpowering. The cinnamon is great, and the coffee is least noticeable. Absolutely fantastic smell, where the cinnamon really shines.

Update: here’s an example where fresh on draft matters. I had it in a can and it was good, but syrupy and the cinnamon was faded and not near as good—I’d say 4.1 in the can, so definitely worth trying but not nearly the same.
