Pitch black body with slight shimmer, tan cap that settles into a collar. This is made by the amazing barrel with robust belgian stout interaction: dark chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, wet earth, raisin, and slight black strap molasses. Nose has more dark rustic oak, taste has more bourbon. Medium body, boozy in an elevated way, smooth yet robust, barrel forward, drier. Really enjoyed this one

This brew is almost like whiskey and stout were blended in the bottle together. It is boozy and has that classic dark fruit explosion you find in well aged beers. A true sipper of a stout, enjoyed slowly.
