Collaboration with Verboten
A Belgian-style base fermentation with Pinot Noir, Cab Sauv and Merlot wine grapes added for dimension and flavor. Tastes of grapes and sweetness, although the finish is dry and robust.

Clear, reddish orange; thin, white head, lasting. Very light aroma; earthy with grape undertones. Malty flavor with a mild overall sweetness; very 'grapy'; no real bitterness per se. Medium-heavy body; velvety smooth; interesting residual sugar feel (hard to truly describe, but it's good); light, dry finish.
An interesting, oddball beer. The brewery's description didn't go into detail as to what kind of Belgian-base they used, but whatever, it works along with the red grape additions.
