A mixed-culture, golden farmhouse-style ale aged in second use wine barrels and dry-hopped with citra. The result is a beer with intense hop aromatics, a lively acidity, and a soft oaky finish.

Pours a very pale and clear color, appears light gold in the glass; dense and lively carbonation; big head, white, foamy and fizzy yet surprisingly long lasting . Very pleasant citrus aroma with a touch of barnyard funk; lemon and very ripe peach. Bright, fruity, acidic taste; tart lime and lemon; an interesting substrata of delicate raw oak. Medium body; crisp and acidic; tangy; a pale presence of dryness at the finish.

Taste and mouthfeel-wise, this is a pretty standard wild ale. What amazes me is the great head retention, something I don't normally see in a wild ale. For a roughly five-year old beer, this thing drinks nicely.

ABV: 4.5%; pouring temperature: 58 °F: bottling info: 2019 (38 cases produced)
Source: unknown (likely Tavour)

Active somewhat cloudy yellow with a thick white head and lacing. Barrel must, slight horse blanket funk, oak, lemon zest, tangerine, and a kiss of apple. A citrus zest potpourri as the general impression. This continues with the zest, before the citrus gets juicy in a hurry, but with the funk and oak on the back end does slightly remind me of citrus cough drops. Feel is decently funky, sneaky hoppy, lightly sour, and actually pretty juicy. Indeed would be quite enjoyable on a hot summer afternoon

.5l bottle from Tavour. Pale straw color, billowing head settles out leaving streaky lacing. Tart, citrusy aroma, lemon zest. Taste follows with more tangy, tart citrus peel notes, lemons. Sweet and sour.

Pours out hazy translucent yellow. The bubble that form are absolutely huge. Theres no head. The bubbles just cling to the side of the glass like giants masses. No lacing either. This is bizarre.

Smell is funk, apple, floral, and wine. It all mixes together quite well.

Taste follows suit. Kinda like a saison, a champagne, and apple cider all wrapped together.

Now the mouthfeel is where it falls flat. Pun intended. There's almost no carbonation in this. Its almost not like a beer. It would be crisp and refreshing if it had any semblance of pop. Buts it's just completely flat. Unfortunate.
