Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. They call this a Rhône Wild Ale.
Appearance: light pinkish-orange hue wiht a shimmery haze and a thin layer of ivory froth. Color is nice, but more head would be prettier.
Smell: vinous, with a bit of pear character and a faint pungency, atop a rather sweet base. It's weird, and I kind of like it.
Taste: even weirder than the aroma. That pungent character reads as very herbal in the flavor; the vinous quality is more reminiscent of, I don't know, gooseberries or something, than it is of grapes. There's definitely a rustic quality to this beer, but I'm not certain how much I actually *like* it. Points for creativity, certainly.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is one of those beers I'm glad to have tried once, but don't plan on having again.

i was so pumped for this one, have been loving their beers, and its cool many are in cans now. this was shared by my buddy who was visiting, they call it a rhone wild ale, wild fermented on syrah, cinsault, and petit sirah grapes, i hoped for and expected quite a bit more from this one. the deep purple motif on the label had me thinking super saturated wine-esque beer, but the color is murky barely pink stained and quite dense looking, high frothy headed and very alive, the can was tight and its excited, but it looks poorly refined and without the rich color i was looking for. the nose is tangy and tannic, but also kind of immature, not sure if its missing oak or if its just underdeveloped, but i have had much more complex yeast profiles from these guys in recent months, and even though its wild and things can vary, i thought this would have a little more happening, seems muddled and new, even incomplete, and the fruit is non varietal specific to me, tart and tannic without being juicy or vinous, and all of this is true with the taste as well. im being too harsh, i like the wheat still being prominent, a lot of these let fruit and ferment run over the malt, but not here, and this wheat is heart, nutty, organic seeming, and robust enough to hold all of this up. the fruit is delicate even though the beer overall is not, hints of black currant and black cherry with the grapes, some may love this subtlety, i wish it was more robust and vinous overall, hard to get much nuance or terroir or anything from the fruit, seems too lightly dosed and fermented past dry, so not much left from them. the funk on the finish is unique which is cool. but it still seems in progress, only faintly tart, more new brett, and even though its nice and bubbly, there is still some real heft to this, almost messy. fun beer, but not one of my favorites from them overall. if it were bottled id say maybe some months in the cellar would tidy it up and improve it some, but not sure with it being in cans. neat but not amazing, especially for these guys, a long way off from their best work...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
