Pours slightly hazy, orange gold in color with one inch head. Taste is pumpkin, clove, sandalwood and light vanilla. Medium-light body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. Nice and unique take on a milkshake ipa. Very autumn and festive.

Look – Golden orange color with a slightly hazy body and a hefty two fingers of frothy, white head.
Aroma – Interesting combo of stone fruits from the hops and cinnamon spice. Bigger notes of nutmeg and that pumpkin are down deep with just a hint of dankness and pine.
Taste – The first things that hit me up front are the vanilla and lactose and it gives off quite the dessert-like feeling. Cinnamon for days followed by that pumpkin puree. I tell ya, that sweetness of the vanilla and lactose are just fighting every other flavor imaginable. So much so I am losing all hop presence. It’s tough to remember this is a Double IPA when sipping, but it is an enjoyable experience.
Mouthfeel – Body is full and despite the sweetness it is actually a smooth-drinking experience.
Overall: Definitely more pumpkin beer than IPA, but hey, that’s why we’re here. The addition of that onslaught of vanilla gets my engine purrin’ and makes it a unique beer for sure.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a hazy amber color with a finger of frothy white head. The head leaves some beautiful cobweb lacing before settling into a thin halo.
The aroma is a bit faint, but brings notes of pumpkin spice and nutmeg, with some very subtle notes of citrus and blueberries.
The flavor brings notes of oranges and fresh berries, before a wave of pumpkin spice, pumpkin pie, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The vanilla comes through on the finish.
The feel is medium-light bodied with low carbonation. Extremely soft and fluffy. A bit thin for a "Milkshake" IPA.
Overall, this is an OK beer. Pumpkin flavors in beer are very hit-or-miss for me as is, but throw in a bunch of hops and things just get weird. Not to mention, the feel is disappointingly light for the style. If nothing else, this is an interesting beer. It's just not something I'd be willing to try again.
