Copenhagen 22/9 2023. 37,5 cl bottle from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. Artistic label which resembles an Angel about to have intercourse with flower seeds.
Pours unclear maroon with a red hue and a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with sweet, sugary and malty odor mingling with a distinct tart scent. Toffee, caramel and sweet liqueur. Raisins, plums and dark alcohol. Sour cheese and milk gone bad.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sharp and sour with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
Sweet brew with a tart streak.
