Copenhagen 14/6 2020. 33 cl bottle from Vin de Table, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Round form with white reflections on the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with big off-white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong, lightly roasted sweet - almost sugary odor - with strong tart, sour notes. Sweet dark, dried fruit. Raisins and figs. Brown sugar. Roasted - almost burnt. Linoleum. More subdued citrus and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger, tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Intense wild beer brimming with contrast. Roasted sweetness meeting sourness with its own strange balance.
