Copenhagen 16/2 2020. 33 cl bottle from Beerlivery webshops. Grey label which looks a little bit like some clipart from Microsoft. Very grey and it seems to be some toppled books all named Bryg. The version I am drinking holds an ABV of 10,0.
Gushy upon opening making poodles all over my kitchen. Pours opaque, dark brown with a medium-sized beige head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense, sweetish and with a fairly strong bitterness rummaging in the background. Brown sugar and caramel. Strong odor of bitter coffee, spicy tobacco and a modest hint of peat.
Light carbonation. Thick, fat, viscous, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. A bit harsh. Aftertaste is bitter sweet with the bitterness winning out in the end. Lingering. Finish is a bit boozy.
Potent Imperial Stout loaded with bitter coffee. I would not start my day with a Imperial Stout. But if I did this is not bad option.
