Copenhagen 26/12 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Gymnasievej, Køge. What looks like a very depressing, rainy piece of abstract art on the label.
Pours opaque, dark brown withba very small white head. Very bubbly and it disappears after a few seconds leaving only small Islands of foam behind. No lacing.
Aroma in intense, sour and with a woody touch. Malty odor of caramel and brown sugar. Fat, lactic cheese. Tart, sour berries. Leather. Touch of vinegar. Sweet barley Wine odor lurking in the background.
Light carbonation. Oily, flat texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour-ish with a sweet undercurrent. A bit vineous. Lingering.
A more sweet than sour sour beer. Reminds me more of a barley wine than a sour beer.
