Copenhagen 6/11 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Gymnasievej, Køge. Military Green label with the word “Beer Laboratorium” in big letters in Danish. The version I am drinking holds an ABV of 11.
Pours opaque dark brown with small light beige head. Bubbly. Disappears fairly fast leaving what looks like decarbonated Coca cola behind. No Lacing.
Aroma is potent, spicy with salty sour notes. Dark and salty. Alcohol lurking in the background. Salty licorice, anise, cinnamon, coriander, gun powder, cough drops.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, greasy texture. Almost flat.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong salty bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light bitter undercurrent. Boozy but not unpleasant finish.
Cough drops with a noteable punch and a spicy touch.
