New England IPA brewed with loads of flaked and malted oats, hopped with Columbus in the kettle, a blend of Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Centennial hops in whirlpool and dry hop. Notes of resin, grapefruit, and melon. Light and silky for the beginning of summer and outdoor weather.

A: Pours a very hazy golden honey in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate amounts of medium golden yellow + apricot + burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy fizzy foamy off-white head that quickly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of very thin film and a very thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, tropical/melon, and dank resinous hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + caramel + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, tropical/melon, and dank resinous hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering citrus + tropical + resinous hop flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp initially with a slightly thin/almost watery mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol but lacking that soft fluffiness in the mouthfeel and a touch watery. Enjoyable with good hop aromas + flavors. I could definitely have another of these. Decent first offering from this fairly new brewery.
