Ohhh flexing on em’! Dressed to the nines these Dinos aren’t here to mess around. We hopped this bad boy with the newest, fanciest hops we could find: Cashmere, Strata, and Mosaic Cryo.

Poured from undated can into a Willi Becher glass. It pours a hazy, golden honey-orange color with more than a finger of Fluffy, milk-white head and thick film of lacing. Its nose includes lemon and lime, along with peach and mild tropical notes. The taste opens dank and weedy; strongly influenced by the Strata hops. It's also fruity but the tart citrus is more evident than the tropical fruit. The age of the can may have something to do with that. There is firm but clean bitterness throughout. This ale has a lite, fairly crisp mouth feel with appropriate carbonation, and it goes down easily at 6.6% ABV. Overall, Dapper Dinosaurs is a very approachable New England IPA. I am not big fan of Strata hops but Fun Guys used them well and they compliment the Cashmere and Mosaic. I wish I knew the age of the can.

A: Pours a murky bright golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + pale yellow + pale orange + apricot colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy creamy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film covering a little less than 50% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit + tropical/melon + tropical/passionfruit + herbal hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat malts with moderate amounts of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat malts with moderate amounts of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit + tropical/melon + tropical/passionfruit + herbal hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away very quickly leaving moderate lingering tropical + herbal hop flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light to moderate amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body with a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol with a pleasantly soft/fluffy mouthfeel and quite refreshing. Enjoyable hop combination in this one (and mostly chosen for the name though I have enough experience with this brewer to expect a very solid hazy IPA) and I could easily have a couple of these.
