Revisit: little less bitterness and a little more fruity this visit. Little more like the Helles lagers I’ve had, but still tasty.
Straw colored window pane of a body, the modest head is persistent and replaces itself well each glass tip.
Nose is light grain and drying grass, with a hint of some light wine-like fruit notes. The feel has a just above medium carbonation level and definitely meets the “crisp” character the menu claims.
Cracker to slightly bready malt folds into a green grape and grassy middle with some light orchard fruit. The carbonation bite hasn’t faded as the buttering agents take over, yielding the impression of spicy hop notes, though they seem a little more like grassy Noble hops by the end.
A nice mix of a floral/fruity middle with a modestly bitter back. Quite tasty!
