On tap at brewery:
Kinda ugly bruised peach middle with hazy sunlight edges. Soapy head has large bubbles that pop and fall to a foamy consistency. The head saves the look from a lower score.
Nose has a little odd spice that seems the slightest bit fusel, with a minty pine aspect. There’s some overripe stone fruit as well. Little off here.
Taste is a step up, no fusel notes here. Opening has a little bit of hop burn, piney in nature. From there is settled into a stone fruit, grain (oat?), pine, and light grapefruit citrus notes. Oddly, it was a little more put together cold, and started to break up a bit as it warmed.
First sips, I was thinking this was pretty decent despite the odd nose. But I agree with the other review and feel “uneven” is a good description for this one. Technicalities aside, I didn’t mind drinking it.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Capital Ale House - Innsbrook, poured into a pint glass. Had a bright orange color and an extremely cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of creamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A good, but not brilliant, aroma of tropical fruit, hops, malt, pine, peaches, and citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a tinge of pine, lots of hops (much more than expected), some citrus fruit (lime, in particular), light peach notes, and a decent bit of tropical fruit (pineapple). A solid, if a little unbalanced flavor. It's much hoppier than the typical NE IPA, but it still manages to work.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An uneven beer, but it has some good qualities. Worth a look.
