Dynasty Brewing

We stopped here to try their beers. The setting is in a light-industrial park, and there is adequate parking at the front of the brewery. The space isn't large, so I suspect it can be crowded on busy evenings. An L-shaped bar has seating, and there are a modest number of tables chairs. The vibe is not all industrial with some partition walls constructed. The brewing equipment is visible to the rear of the pub area. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was very attentive to our needs. We briefly chatted with the owner/brewer too.

There are 12 taps (11 beers and one seltzer). Sampler flights are not offered here for us to have very many beers to be able to get a good overall evaluation, but we were given 3 generous samples plus we ordered a full pint on another one (on cask) so that we tried 4 beers. These beers were so good that we gave a 4.75 rating to three of them and a 4.25 to the fourth. It seems based on this sampling that the brewer knows how to brew! The Mt. Vernon Virginia Porter is probably the best that I've ever had.

There is no food here although a pizza food truck is scheduled for every Friday, plus the brewery offers chips and salsa as a snack. Most (all?) of the beers are canned and available to go, plus I noticed some howlers on the shelf. I liked these beers so much that I saw on social media that they just released a doppelbock so that I went back and got a 4-pack of it to go. (Live music was playing then.) If I didn't live 10 hours away, I'd be back to this place frequently. Highly recommended!

V - industrial vibe with not a ton of space or tables, a small empty backroom for bigger parties
Q - beer is ok, it's not awful, but there are many better breweries in Northern VA
S - friendly staff with fast service
S - decent selection, but your typical domination of IPAs and Pilsners you tend to see in Virginia

A small brewery in a warehouse setting with a wide variety of beers on tap, mostly focused on IPAs, in a relaxing setting in Loudoun County with a good vibe.
