Mut have been some improvements since the other review as this is pretty good...malty...a bit of lactose cream....not getting much rye spiciness but perhaps a little on the finish...lighter abv but seems more medium bodied...creamy...a bit unrefined...reminds me of some of the old Slab City brews (from way back in the early days before the boom) when they were on (they weren't always on)...good drinker....mild sweetness....good beer..I gave all 4's but kind of inbetween 3.75 and 4.0 for aroma, taste and overall...

16oz can with no noticeable date. This is just not a very well crafted beer. Has the caustic aroma that spells trouble. Flavor is way too sweet for an Amber Ale. The overall flavor is just off and I haven't tasted a beer with this off flavor for almost a decade. Not sure what they did wrong, but they so did it wrong. Did they use unfiltered St. Croix river water? Vomit after a night with Windsor and Molson? The rye is noticeable but doesn't save the beer. Got through half and dumped the rest. I got 3 more cans of this shite. Not the worst beer I have had in recent years, but it is an honorable mention.
