The least impressive of the four in the sampler 12 pack I picked up. Just has a bit of a sour flavor to it. Sure there's some coffee beans and dark cocoa in the nose but the taste starts with the sourness and then never really improves...I guess some cocoa, and coffee beans there too but overridden by the sour notes. Again, not huge sour flavor but enough to impact it negatively.

Body is also a little thin and lacks creamy characteristics...would not recommend this one

Pours pitch black with one finger of creamy head. Smell is of milk chocolate. Taste is milk chocolate, vanilla, cola. Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, lower-end of medium body, somewhat watery. Finish is malted chocolate, cola, faint vanilla.

On tap at the brewery.

This beer pours a very dark brown color. There's a bit of an off-white head to this beer.
The nose is a pleasing roasted chocolate aroma. I am getting light hints of lactose backing up the chocolate.
The flavor is opposite of the nose: I get a huge lactose hint up front. The lactose is string, but not over the top. The chocolate does come into play on the back. The beer is generally sweet, but not overpowering.
The body is so smooth and creamy. Decent depth.
Tasty and delivers on what it promises.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Clear, ruby brown colored body. Took four attempts to fill the glass, because of foam overflow. Light tan colored head. Leaves behind a few lacing spots.
Aroma of lightly roasted malts and milk sugar for sweetness. Dirty tank smell.
Taste is slightly sour, with milk sugar sweetened malts. Chocolate and coffee is faint.
Foamy, medium mouth feel. Minor tongue sting. Overcarbonated in the can.
Not much going for this presentation - too old, poorly canned, or a mediocre brew - difficult to discern.
