16 oz can date stamp illegible into a Pokal.
L: SRM 4 Pours a yeasty light caramel color with a thin soapy white head that recedes to edge foam quickly, light steady carbo bubbles, no lacing.
S: A very light malt note, a hint of apple, notes of vinous pepper plants.
T: Slightly unripe fruits, peach, lightly vinous, apricot, citrus zest, quite pale, a distant touch of yeast, background dry leather.
F: A bit flat but not dull medium to med-light bodied feel with a medium length smooth, lightly drying and spicy warming finish. The pepper heat is a creeper. It is not overly spicy.
O: Smooth & hot. Maybe a bit thin overall. It has ample heat and is well balanced. It's okay in its style.
