A Dank and Juicy NEIPA brewed with Cashmere, Eureka and Strata hops.
Who?...Dave? Dave’s not here!
Actually, it’s Chong, the next beer within our “Other Tom” series. Much like great comedy, craft beer can be a bit counterculture to those that hold to tradition or style. We love the expressive style that NEIPA has become. Hops can be in your face or subtle; citrusy or dank. In the end, it is the art and timing of additions and blends that give something that puts a dumb smile on your face, man.

A: The beer is very hazy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a finger high white head that has very good retention properties and consistently left a short head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrus, herbal hops, and melon are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of melon are a bit stronger and honeydew melon seems to stand out in particular. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that this New England-style IPA had an interesting contrast between the citrus/melon and the herbal hops.
