A novelty. Margarita Sour with fresh lime and Himalayan salt, rested on Tequila staves.

SRM 3-4 (dark straw to gold), and almost clear. A quick, delicate, white head becomes a thick ring leaving no lace within one minute of pouring. Lazy, tiny bubbles form columns within a Spieglau IIPA glass.
The aroma is dominated, in fact exclusively, by wet socks. With some warmth, a marshy brine becomes apparent.
Light sourness is slightly more than the light sweetness. The flavor is much like the aroma, although the brine is more apparent and reminds me of the bay side of Sandy Hook, NJ. The finish is mild and lasts a few seconds to a minute.
The body is light to medium, with a watery texture. There is no hint of alcohol and carbonation is moderately high.
Drinking this beer reminds me of Springsteen's album, "Nebraska", which I decided to listen to as a result. And I must say, it is a good pairing. I detected little, if any, influence from Tequilla staves. Still, this is a decent beer, though not as good as the music.
