We made it a year and have re-enlisted to continue to do what we love. We crafted this light bodied, moderately bitter IPA to celebrate. We hopped it with Nelson Sauvin, Montueka, and Southern Cross which brought tropical fruit and citrus notes and a hint of pine.

On tap at brewery:
Cloudy pale yellow orb has a razor wire circling its northern hemisphere. Some initial lines of lacing disappeared a few sips later.
Nose isn’t offering much up, a little citrus floral initially gains some [orange] juiciness as it warms. Thought there is something that adds a nutty, oat-like partner scent.
Taste is not unexpected from the nose on the base, but doesn’t bring the juiciness along. The nutty scent transforms to become a little more of a reedy grass. There is a feint at juiciness that gets swallowed by the core dirty, earthy aspects of the non-hop ingredient. The back end brings a little pine wood bitterness.
Medium soft body gets disrupted by a little bit of hop burn.
Nothing very unique here, and each category is just a little underwhelming on its own.
