Great beer my favorite at the Carlyle brewery!
Orangish sunburst color filled w/ wheat ale that could cure a man!
One of the only things to be proud in Rockford.
This beer hits the spot. Get a growler because you can't get this anywhere else, probably the most refreshing beer ever, thanx Carlyle!

Draught @ brewpub: This one poured a somewhat orangish-amber color with a bit of a head. There was also a decent bit of lacing. The aroma is fairly decent, with a good bit of grapefruit and pine hops. Decent malt body with a bit of a malt kick. This almost treads into the IPA range.

Grabbed a growler of this to go when I stopped in today. It pours a nice copper color with a 2 finger head after an aggressive pour. The nose is nice, with sweet caramel and slight floral and citrusy hops. A somewhat mellow nose. The flavor is pretty darn nice. Slightly citrusy sweet hop, but mostly floral over a light caramel base. The residual bitter left after swallowing is tasty, drawing me back into the glass again and again. The feel is moderate, with a moderate carbonation. I am onto my second pint of it, so its very easy drinking. I may take the growler down this evening. Solid APA.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
