Orange pour with a little head, even though the glass is a nice glass and it should be easy to put a head on in.
Smells like west coast hops, nicely and heavily, but with a few off nodes of godknowswhat. It's almost chemical-ish but I'd swear these guys don't brew from kit.
Flavor starts with the hops, which like a good gay lover are dominate but gentle. Flowers and grass and grapefruit. This zings off into a sharp sting of tart malt that serves more as a distraction than a balance. Ends on the hops, which are again nice.
I don't know what the heck they were trying for with this but they only halfway succeeded.
