My wife and I stopped here to try their beers and to have a pizza from the neighboring pizza restaurant. The place is rural and sits at the top of a hill overlooking a former apple orchard. Although the location is somewhat rural, it's only a few hundred feet off of US-31 and about 3-4 miles south of Charlevoix. The building appears to be a converted dwelling, and the brewing is done in the lower level. There is a good-sized lawn where a fair amount of seating is available, plus there are also two porches with seating. The interior has tables/chairs for around 50 people. The bar is just inside the entrance, and it has seating for six. Service is ordering at the bar. (If you want pizza, walk 20 feet next door to place your order.)

We ordered a sampler flight of 6 of the 12 beers that were available which had a wide range of styles. There was also a kombucha and three hard ciders which are also made on site. (They also make wine.) Our beers were all brewed very well to their respective styles, and our scoring came out to be just short of a 4.25 overall rating. The Walkabout Brown Ale and the Clocked Out Citra Pale Ale stood out, but all of the beers scored at least a 4.0 rating.

I'd like to come here again and try some of the rest of the beers. They all sound delicious. If you're in the area stop by and give them a try. I don't think you'll regret it.

Vibe was top notch. Indoor and outdoor seating. Ambient string lighting outdoors with fireplace for chilly nights. Located off a dirt road about 5-10 miles outside Charlevoix in a grassy field overlooking some heavily wooded area(Not near Lake Michigan as a previous review stated. Not sure if they moved locations but this brewery is about 10 miles from any water). Beer selection was expansive as well as wine and cider. They do serve pizza Saturday’s and Sundays if you were looking for a meal. Service is great for the environment they are creating. You walk up to the bar and order your drinks and then seat yourself in or outside and return to the bar when your glass is empty. No waitressing involved. The bartenders were polite, the beer was great, the atmosphere was the home run. Loved it here and will return when in the area in the future.

Nice place. There are 11 taps, mostly beer, but also some hard cider. Wine is also available by glass or available to purchase by bottle. Sunsets are nice in the evening.

Brewery is located on the family farmhouse overlooking Lake Michigan. Nice yard for bags, and plenty of parking. Nice young couple who own the brightly day lit tasting room that has wine as well with some tasty beers. Brand new this Summer. Clean and cute. Brown ale was my favorite. They viewed and to me talk about my beer books.
