Appearance - Pours a deep gold with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus, earthy, leafy, and floral hops, funky yeast, biscuity malts, lemon, and orange peel.
Taste - Light citrus, earthy, leafy, and floral hops followed by a pungent tartness from the lemon and orange peel. The biscuity malts and funky yeast finish the brew off.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with high carbonation. Finishes sticky with a lingering tartness.
Overall - An approachable brew that displays the yeast and tartness very well. For me, this was a little tart as the one bottle is plenty for my palate. Still, worth a shot for those that are into this style.
