"Classic West Coast"
Poured from a howler from the taproom.
Appearance - Pours a light gold with three fingers off bubbly white head with some nice lacing on the glass.
Smell - citrus, piney, and earthy hops, pine resin, grapefruit peel, orange, mango, hint of passion fruit, biscuity malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - Bold citrus, piney, and earthy hops upfront. The pine resin, grapefruit peel, orange, mango, and hint of passion fruit follow suit. The biscuity malts and earthy yeast finish the brew off.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - An exceptional IPA from the folks at '88. The hops are definitely at the forefront with the pine resin and citrus fruits playing tag with each other. Another winner and by far one of the best that I have sampled from this brewery.
