A collaboration brew with Paddy's BBQ & Brewery.
Poured from a howler from the taproom.
Appearance - Pours a pale amber gold with three fingers of foamy white head that leaves some pleasant lacing on the glass.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, citrus fruits, orange, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, red berries (strawberry/raspberry), biscuity and bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - Bold citrus and tropical hops upfront. The citrus fruits, orange, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, and red berries come through next. The brew is then followed nicely into bready and biscuity malts and is finished off by the earthy yeast.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops lingering alongside the citrus and tropical fruits.
Overall - A nicely balanced DIPA that showcases the drink-ability and strong hop presence. Seeing as this brew is 7.9%, it goes down easy with no sign of the ABV. An exemplary first collaboration brew!
