"Yippie-Ki-Yay"
Poured from a howler.
Appearance - Pours a dark gold (almost copper brown) with two fingers of bubbly white head.
Smell - banana, clove, wheaty malts, spicy earthy and leafy hops, spicy yeast, bubblegum aromas, and light citrus aromas.
Taste - banana, clove upfront followed by the wheaty malts. The spicy earthy and leafy hops come through next followed the bubblegum aromas and subtle vinous notes. The brew is finished off the by the light citrus aromas, and spicy earthy yeast.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes creamy with the banana, clove and hops lingering.
Overall - A well brewed Hefe that displays the traditional Hefe elements with a pleasant twist from the vinous notes. An enjoyable twist to the Hefe style.
