"Clubber Lang"
Poured from a howler from the taproom.
Appearance - Pours a clear gold with a finger of bubbly white head.
Smell - spicy earthy, floral, and leafy hops, fruity esters, vinous aromas, grape, pear, biscuity malts, and spicy earthy yeast.
Taste - Mild spicy earthy, floral, and leafy hops upfront followed quickly into the fruity esters, vinous notes, grape, pear. The biscuity malts and spicy earthy yeast finish the brew off.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes off-dry and sticky with the fruity esters of grape and pear lingering.
Overall - A highly drinkable Belgian Pale. The pear and grape notes were pleasant and the ABV is well hidden. An agreeable version of the style. Kudos '88!
