This year we are celebrating neighbor day with one the OG’s of the Calgary craft beer scene & community building pioneers Village Brewery aaaaand we have delightful pilsner with a twist to share with y’all!
Brewed with straight up pilsner malt profile, and hopped with Colombus, Motueka and Hersbruker hops we added lemons to the party to play up the acidity and citrus punch. Finally we dry hopped Hersbruker hops and super special guest star Kaffir lime leaves to add some tropical flare and a nice old school floral quality that all iconic pilsners are known for!

A collab brew with Village.
Appearance - Pours a cloudy gold with two fingers of bubbly white head.
Smell - lemon, lime, earthy and leafy hops, pilsner malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - lemon and lime upfront but not as potent as the aroma followed by the earthy and leafy hops. The pilsner malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Finishes slightly tart from the lemon and lime.
Overall - A brew that nailed the lemon and lime concept but I feel as though in the taste, it tasted like a "7up". The lemon and lime presented themselves but I wish it is was a touch more pronounced.
