Pours a murky brownish orange colour with finger plus of off white head that leaves nice lacing on the glass.
Initially piney aroma,citrus hops - orange, nectarine, slightly floral with hints of peach - grainy malt more prominent as warmed.
Citrus on the palate - tropical, slightly piney - initially sweet but earthy hop flavour leads to an astringent bitterness - becomes dry and chalky aspirin like at the back.
Creamy medium mouthfeel with decent carbonation, but cannot get around the chalky bitterness that sits unhappily in the back of throat.
Really quite good until get to that finish.
