If you're not cheating, you're not trying. Our first beer brewed with Phantasm from New Zealand, this IPA uses the thiols from the dried grape skin (Phantasm) to boost the flavour and experience of the El Dorado and Citra hops. Enjoy this low carb hazy and gain an extra life or two!

Appearance - Pours a hazy pineapple gold with two fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - Strong tropical and juicy citrus hop aromas (pineapple, mango, passionfruit, orange, lemon), Sauvignon Blanc characteristics (melon, gooseberry), bready malts, caramel/honey, hint of spicy yeast.
Taste - Juicy tropical and citrus fruit flavours (noted above), followed by a mild-to-moderate citrus/leafy hop bitterness, Sauvignon Blanc notes, bready malts, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Sticky on the palate.
Overall - Another shining example from the folks at '88 who know how to deliver the hazy NEIPA style. Spot on flavour with a great use of Phantasm - worth trying if you find it in your travels.
