Pours a dark reddish brown with fine, tan head.
Smell is citrusy and malty with grassy, floral notes and some hints of piney resin.
Taste is anchored by a solid, slightly sweet maltbase. Notes of citrus, pine, resin and some floral hints and a moderate bitterness. Well balanced and clean.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice amber ale, plenty of flavor, and would probably work very well with Christmas food.
