Pours a dark brown with thick, fluffy, bouncy head.
Smell is malty and sweet with some roasted hints. Notes of tobacco, coffee and dark chocolate.
Taste is malty, sweet and roasted with a bit of fruitiness. Notes of tobacco, coffee, chocolate, nuts, pine and a hint of licorice. Moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation.
Overall, a very nice black IPA, could do with some more punch.
