I had this at the brand's new home, the Hops Haven Brew Haus in Sheboygan. This is about as good an American lager as I've ever found. Effervescent on the tounge, a nice light straw color and taste. Hops give a slight spicy edge, almost tangy. I haven't found many brewpubs with a good light lager, but this one is worth finding (the brewmaster told me one reason he left Port Washington is that the bar owners couldn't keep the lines in shape, ruining the beer betwen brewing and serving).
