I'm reviewing this beer under Hops Haven, since they're the ones who brew it. Apparently its sold under the Port Washington name, even though Port Washington is no longer in existence. However, Hops Haven bought Port Washington's equipment, so in a way, its still Port Washington....
A: Very dark brown in color. Almost approaching black, but just not quite getting there. Served with about a 1/4" of light tan head. Almost opaque, but still showing some translucency.
S: Coffee, Roasted malts, and baker's chocolate.
T: Again, coffee, roasted malts and chocolate with a subtle sweetness and nuttiness as well.
M: Medium-thick with decent carbonation. Not heavy.
D: A pretty good porter. I had this with a caramelized onion and blue cheese burger and it paired up well. I can't imagine you'd be able to find this one too far out of Sheboygan, but its definitely a beer worth giving a try.
